“1937 Andrès Segovia”
Hermann Hauser (1882–1952) learned the trade in his father Josef’s workshop, and initially devoted himself to the construction of Viennese-style lutes and guitars.
The study of Torres’ work on original models and the collaboration with Andres Segovia led him to work on a new “Spanish” style guitar. It is his instrument of 1937 that Segovia called “the greatest guitar of our time”.
I formally build a faithful copy of this famous guitar with material and decorative variations.
The Hauser model is made without using materials that require CITES certification.
I am able to customize the length of the string, the widths of the fretboard and the neck size of my guitars according to individual needs.
